It’s Valentine’s Day, let’s celebrate with our Shovelheads and Sweethearts. The world’s only Harley-Davidson Museum kicks off the Midwest’s preeminent motorcycle show weekend with an Official Mama Tried Pre-Party. It is going to be a 70’s Red Carpet Affair you don’t want to miss featuring Flat Out Friday Flat Track Racers and Mama Tried Motorcycle Show Builders inside and outside MOTOR® Bar & Restaurant. Check your closet for that perfect Boho Style outfit as it is a night for polyester and corduroy to come out. A Boonie Bike Showdown powered by Milwaukee Harley-Davidson will light up the track along with a mock jam by Milwaukee’s own Brewcity Bruisers Roller Derby. True Skool DJ, a local Creative Arts Program, will be curating the 70’s beats as we rock the night away next to the glow of warm firepits. Featuring Budweiser Bike Night Koozie special, Third Space Brewing February Beer Specials and Stella Artois Chalice promo. Finally make the night memorable by photo ops, games and the ultimate souvenir a couples tattoo (or solo) by Horseshoe Tattoo.

Midwest premiere of “Oil in the Blood”; a feature film documentary charting the rapidly growing global subculture movement of custom bike building.

The last two years have witnessed an explosion in motorcycle culture. A generation no longer forced into study under the auspice of a guaranteed rosy future were effectively set free to create, make and build their way out of economic turmoil, creating custom motorcycles unlike those ever seen before.

The Mama Tried Motorcycle Show is gearing up for three days of moto madness in Milwaukee, and we will once again be the place to be for all the pre- and post-show two-wheeled action.

Hosting the official Mama Tried After Party on Saturday, Feb. 16, and the Iron Horse will be rocking the house with live bands, tattoo artists, and plenty of Jack Daniels specials.

-Live music by Decibel Fix (9 p.m.-midnight)

-Tattoos by Moving Shadow Ink (1-5 p.m. and 6-10 p.m.)

Whether you need some revitalization in the morning or want to close out the weekend with a late afternoon drink (or do both) , we've got you covered on Sun Feb 17. We're serving Brunch from 8am-3PM and have the Happy Trails Happy Hour from 3PM-6PM. FREE beer or coffee & sticker for riders. At 6PM we'll crown the "Hardest Hitter" Champion from all who have challenged our Boxing Machine throughout the weekend.
